Uottawa Essay Contest

Every student in your class could win a $2,000 scholarship to the University of Ottawa by showing how you are the best French class in Ontario in 2016!

Grade 10, 11 or 12 immersion, extended and core French classes in Ontario are invited to create and submit a 1-2 minute video in French that shows how they stand out with their bilingualism, their leadership, or their service to the community. Montrez-nous pourquoi VOUS êtes la meilleure classe de français!

Each student that participated in the creation of the winning video will be offered a $2,000 admission scholarship to the University of Ottawa. Students who worked on the 4 runner-up videos will each be offered a $1,000 admission scholarship to the University of Ottawa.

Calling all uOttawa science students! This winter, the Catalyst is bringing you a phenomenal opportunity that marries science, creativity, and résumé-expanding success. Participate in our second annual Winter Writing Conteston the theme of “Science: A Life-Changing Experience”. All you need to do is convince the Catalyst editors that one research experience can change lives. Prizes of up to $150 are offered, and winning articles will be published in the next issue of the Catalyst.

The contest deadline is February 23rd, 2015.

Un appel à tous les étudiants en sciences! Cet hiver, le Catalyst vous donne l’opportunité de combiner les sciences, la créativité et du succès pour améliorer votre curriculum vitae en participant à notre second concours de rédaction annuel. Vous n’avez qu’à rédiger un texte et convaincre les rédacteurs du Catalyst qu’une expérience en recherche peut avoir un grand impact tel qu’indique le thème de cette année “La science: Des expériences qui changent la vie”. Soumettez votre article et vous courez la chance de gagner jusqu’à 150$ et la chance de voir votre article publié dans l’édition de mars du Catalyst.
